Why partnership matters
Young people across Nepal are making decisions about education, careers, skills, migration, and life direction—often without access to someone who has genuinely navigated a similar path. Geography, economic circumstances, social networks, caste, ethnicity, disability, and school resources can all influence who receives guidance and who is left to decide alone.
Technology can help create connections, but trusted mentorship also requires mentor verification, safeguarding, orientation, local relationships, program support, and continued learning. Partners help BhaiBahini build that ecosystem responsibly.

Young people often begin asking important questions about education, careers, skills, migration, and their future while they are still in school or closely connected to a community organization.
Educators and community leaders understand their students’ realities, but they cannot—and should not—be expected to provide every form of professional or lived-experience guidance alone.
BhaiBahini adds another layer of support by connecting eligible young people with screened Nepali professionals who can share honest perspective from paths they have genuinely navigated.

BhaiBahini Provides
A school or community referral does not guarantee admission or a mentorship match. Every participant must complete the appropriate application, consent, onboarding, and safeguarding requirements.
Responsible Partnership
BhaiBahini welcomes partners who share our commitment to young people’s dignity, privacy, safety, and right to make their own decisions.
Partnership may provide resources, expertise, access, or local support. It does not provide authority over individual participants, mentor matching, personal information, or a young person’s choices.

Where we are starting
BhaiBahini is preparing a supported pilot in Kohalpur, Nepal, with a small group of young participants and approximately seven to nine Founding Mentors.
The pilot will help us understand what responsible remote mentorship requires in practice—from community outreach and family engagement to onboarding, matching, safeguarding, participation, and feedback.
