BhaiBahini connects experienced Nepali professionals in Nepal and around the world with young people seeking guidance about education, careers, opportunities, migration, and life direction.
Why mentorship matters
Across Nepal and the Nepali diaspora, professionals carry valuable knowledge shaped by education, work, migration, uncertainty, failure, resilience, and growth.
Young people rarely have equal access to this experience. The guidance available to them may depend on their family, location, school, social network, caste, community, or economic background.
BhaiBahini is creating a trusted pathway through which lived experience can become accessible guidance.
Mentors do not tell young people what to choose. They help them see the fuller landscape, understand realities that may not be visible from the outside, and make better-informed decisions for themselves.
Who can mentor
BhaiBahini welcomes people of Nepali origin or heritage living outside Nepal as part of the global Nepali diaspora—regardless of their current citizenship or country of residence.
Professionals from business, technology, healthcare, public service, social impact, finance, law, and other fields.
Founders, business owners, innovators, community builders, and people who have created new pathways.
Teachers, professors, trainers, scholars, scientists, and professionals working in education or research.
Designers, artists, writers, craftspeople, technical specialists, and practitioners whose knowledge comes from applied experience.
We are looking for people with meaningful professional and lived experience who are willing to share what they have genuinely learned with honesty, humility, and care.

The mentorship journey
Career changers, returned professionals, and people with nontraditional journeys are welcome within every category. You do not need a prestigious title or a perfect career—you need relevant experience and the willingness to guide responsibly.

Tell us about your experience, the areas in which you can offer guidance, and why you would like to mentor.

Selected applicants complete identity and professional verification, required agreements, safeguarding preparation, and mentor orientation.

Approved mentors create a consented profile describing their experience, languages, mentoring areas, and participation status.

Eligible mentees explore mentors and may request a discovery conversation. If both participants agree, they begin a structured remote mentorship journey with clear expectations and support.
Submitting an interest form does not guarantee selection, approval, a public profile, or a mentorship match.

THE FOUNDING COMMUNITY
BhaiBahini is preparing a carefully supported pilot beginning in Kohalpur, Nepal. We are initially bringing together a small circle of approximately seven to nine Founding Mentors across complementary areas of experience. The purpose is not rapid scale. It is to learn what responsible, meaningful, remote mentorship requires in practice.
What we learn together will shape BhaiBahini before its broader public launch.

Your safety matters. BhaiBahini uses screened mentors, clear conduct expectations, approved remote channels, and a defined process for reporting concerns. Formal mentorship does not begin through this interest form.
BhaiBahini mentors must be Nepali professionals or members of the Nepali diaspora, with relevant lived or professional experience to share.
