Decision Areas

What Kind of Guidance Are You Looking For?

Mentors do not make decisions for you. They help you understand your options, learn from real experience, and decide with greater clarity.

Education & Skills

Explore colleges, courses, scholarships, learning paths, and the skills you may need for your future.

Career & Work

Share an honest view of career paths, internships, first jobs, workplace, entrepreneurship, expectations, and professional growth.

Opportunities in Nepal & Abroad

Help young people understand the realities of studying, working, returning, remaining, or building something meaningful in Nepal and around the world.

Confidence & Direction

Offer perspective when a young person feels stuck, pressured, uncertain, or unsure about their next step.

Migration is one possible path—not the definition of success. BhaiBahini helps young people explore possibilities honestly, including opportunities to learn, work, and build meaningful futures within Nepal.

The role of a mentor

Share Perspective Without Taking Away Agency

A BhaiBahini mentor is not expected to have every answer. Good mentorship begins with listening, asking thoughtful questions, and sharing experience honestly—including mistakes and uncertainties.

Mentors Can

Listen respectfully and ask useful questions

Share relevant lived and professional experience

Help a young person understand options and trade-offs

Ask questions that encourage independent thinking

Suggest appropriate resources and next steps

Offer encouragement without creating dependency

Mentors Do Not

Decide a young person’s future for them

Guarantee admission, employment, scholarships, visas, or migration outcomes

Recruit mentees for an employer, business, school, consultancy, or service

Request money, gifts, favors, or private services

Provide legal, medical, financial, mental-health, or emergency services

Arrange in-person meetings through the BhaiBahini program

Move communication outside approved channels without authorization

A Note for Parents and Guardians

BhaiBahini takes the safety, dignity, and privacy of young participants seriously. Young people may learn about BhaiBahini and express initial interest without submitting identity documents or other sensitive records. Before a participant under 18 enters the formal mentorship program, BhaiBahini will require appropriate parent or guardian involvement and consent.

    During onboarding, we will explain:
  • How remote mentorship works
  • How mentors are screened
  • What information is collected
  • What boundaries mentors and mentees must follow
  • How to ask questions or report a concern
  • How consent can be withdrawn

Parents and guardians are welcome to contact us with questions at any stage.

Express interest

Tell Us What Kind of Guidance Would Help?

Joining the list helps us understand what young people need and plan future pilot opportunities. It is an expression of interest—not a guarantee of admission or a mentorship match.

  • No guarantee of placement — this is an expression of interest
  • We will not ask for sensitive documents at this stage
  • Formal onboarding happens at app.bhaibahini.org
  • Minors may need parent or guardian involvement later

Your safety matters. BhaiBahini uses screened mentors, clear conduct expectations, approved remote channels, and a defined process for reporting concerns. Formal mentorship does not begin through this interest form.
